It was great to talk to so many women at the recent Nelson Women’s Lifestyle Show, who are concerned about what they put on their skin and therefore have an interest in natural skincare. Congratulations to Olivia Friend who won our gift basket of over $200 worth of skincare.

Hemp Oil
You may have noticed that all our moisturisers contain Hemp Oil. Hemp Oil has amazing benefits for our skin.

One of our skins main functions is to regulate moisture; this job is carried out by creating a ‘barrier’. The health of our skins barrier is what determines the condition of our skin, dry, oily, soft, smooth etc. The key to the health of this barrier is keeping moisture inside the skin. Hemp seed oil does this naturally; it is 80% essential fatty acids (EFAs) the highest amount of any plant. EFA's are what do the job of holding moisture on the skin.

Hemp Oil has the added benefit of having the ideal ratio of EFA's, so closely matching our own skins oils that it can penetrate inside the cells, moisturising from within.

Hemp Oil also has a high content of vitamin E, a natural anti-oxidant that can trap free radicals which injure and age our cells. Studies have shown that Hemp Oil can slow the aging process.

Mineral Makeup is taking the world by storm, judging by the interest in our range at the show, it’s just about to hit NZ.

makeup brush Foundations have traditionally been a covering of chemical which covers skin blemishes and imperfections but also clogs and blocks pores meaning your skin can't breathe.

Mineral Makeup is finely ground minerals dusted on the face with a brush, working with your skins tones for a fresh natural look. It allows your skin to breathe and the zinc it contains can actually help repair damaged skin.

We can't see the point in using natural skincare then covering your face with chemical makeup. It doesn't make sense!!
